CooCox CoLinkEx is a hardware debugging adapter which supports JTAG & SW debugging with ARM Cortex M devices in CooCox software and Keil RealView MDK.
Note: If you want to use CoLinkEx with CoIDE 1.4.0(or higher), CoFlash 1.4.0(or higher), CoMDKPlugin 1.4.0(or higher), you need to upgrade the firmware and install CoLinkEx Driver 1.2.0 or 1.2.1 at first.
Hardware Source Requirement
When you use CoLinkEx, The PC is required to use the following sources:
● CPU: 2.0GHz (at least)
● Memory: 512M (at least)
● USB Interface: 1 (at least)
● Serial Line interface use COM1
● Operation System: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Win 7
● Software need: CoIDE, MDK, IAR(with CoMDKPlugin, CoIARPlugin)
CoLinkEx support is available in:
● Keil RealView MDK 4.03 or higher (not include 4.13a)
● IAR Embedded Workbench 5.xx or higher
● CooCox CoFlash
● CooCox CoIDE

SW/JTAG Debug Interface
CoLinkEx use ARM standard 20 pin, 2.54mm SW/JTAG Interface. Most target boards support this interface. The 10pin 2.54mm/2.0mm interface is also supported. You can use the interface to debug ARM Cortex M devices.
Mini USB Port
CoLinkEx communicates with and gets power from PC through this Mini USB AB interface. When you Install JP2, CoLinkEx will provide power supply to the target board.
LED
CoLinkEx has 4 indicator LEDs for indicating the power status, error, connection, and busy status of CoLinkEx.
