Description

Description

The LoRaWAN Pyranometer sensor measures solar radiation. It is suitable to be used to monitor solar activity in solar parks, solar-dependent systems, and others. In order to reduce the ambient temperature effect, a temperature compensation circuit is built into the sensor.

The form factor of the Sensor Hub allows for multiple and/or different sensors to be connected at the same time as well as a solar panel, creating a reliable solar-powered solution.

This solution is suitable in scenarios where solar energy is preferred/needed.

The Splitter cable can connect several Sensor Probes and Probe IOs to a single Sensor Hub port to be powered by the solar power source. The distance between the Sensor Hub and Sensor Probe/Probe IO can be extended via the Extension cable.

Sensor Hub Features:

Full LoRaWAN band support

Based on RAK4630(MCU: nRF52840, Radio Chip: SX1262)

Support Bluetooth for easy setup

Support NFC for easy setup

RUI3-based firmware

Auto-detection of the power source

Auto-detection of the Sensor Probes

Power source:

  +12 VDC at 1 A (12 W) power adapter(optional)

  Support 12 VDC solar panel

  4 x ER18505 Li-SOCl2 batteries holder (battery not included)
